An album of original songs written mostly over a solo, multi-day river trip in Labyrinth Canyon on the Green River, the River Green Sessions explores the sounds of folk and old time music in the Utah desert. The tracks were field recorded at a friend’s mountain home outside of Park City, Utah, with Ben Weiss, Grayson Wickel, and David Baker. Live sounds of birds and trucks on dirt roads intermingle with Melissa’s tunes that weave through desert canyons.
